Is Diaroo free?

Core Poo logging and history, basic statistics, achievements, optional account sync, and Warm/Cool themes are free. Optional Premium adds a separate Pee diary, iPhone PDF/CSV/JSON exports, summaries, all 16 phone themes, and no ads. Viewing, editing and deleting existing records stay free. Earlier builds may retain their original export access. See the feature comparison.

How do I find the Fart diary?

In version 1.4.1, tap the version in Settings seven times to reveal the optional Fart diary. Try its styles and sounds, then create a cloud card. Review the date, time, location and any other details before sharing. Fart entries stay separate from bowel and bladder statistics.

How can I help test the app?

Download the published App Store app and try making, finding, editing and deleting a sample entry. Tell us your device, app and OS version, what you tried, and what happened at [email protected]. Please do not send personal diary contents.

What are Diaroo’s English and Chinese names?

On the App Store, the names are Diaroo: Bathroom Diaries and 屁事便签 · Diaroo. Same app and journal, with room for both Poo and Pee.

Why are drinks in the Pee diary?

A bladder diary can include fluid intake alongside bathroom visits. A Drink entry records what you drank; it is a separate event, not a pee record, and is optional. In version 1.4 you can also record leaks and pad changes.

Why can’t I see Pee on my watch?

The separate Pee page requires the bladder update on both phone and watch and active Premium access. Free watch users see Poo, View, Map and Settings. After installation, Poo logging and local history work offline without a diary account. Open Diaroo on both paired devices to sync access, and use Restore Purchases on the phone if needed. Previously saved bladder records remain available after Premium ends.

Can my watch save a location?

On Apple Watch with Diaroo 1.4, turn on Settings → Entry location on the watch and grant its location permission. An available watch location is attached when saving; permission on the phone does not grant permission on the watch. Logging works without location. Watch location details.

What changed in the calendar?

In version 1.4, days with more Poo or Pee icons than can fit show an emoji and count, such as 💩 × 4. Open the day to see the individual entries.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can use all core features without creating an account. Your data is stored locally on your device. Signing in enables cloud sync across your devices.

Is my data private?

Without an account, journal entries are saved on your device. Signing in enables cloud sync, including entries already on that device. Backend connections use HTTPS, and account controls restrict journal access. Sync is not end-to-end encrypted. Maps, billing, ads, and optional diagnostics can contact service providers even without a journal account. Diaroo does not sell journal content or use health logs to personalize ads. Is Diaroo a medical app?

No. Diaroo is a wellness tracking tool for personal use only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App does not provide healthcare services or replace records kept by a clinician. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns. See our Wellness Disclaimer.

What age do I need to be?

You must be at least 13, or the higher minimum age required where you live, to use Diaroo. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to our Terms of Service.

How do I manage Premium?

Open Premium in Diaroo and choose Restore Purchases using the store account that made the purchase. Sign in to the same Diaroo account for account-linked access. Manage or cancel monthly and annual subscriptions through Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. A lifetime purchase is one-time access for the lifetime of the Diaroo service, not a recurring subscription. Deleting the app or account does not cancel recurring billing. Store prices and conditions appear before purchase; purchase terms explain refunds and access.

How do I export my journal?

In Diaroo 1.4 for iPhone, open Settings → Manage your data for Premium PDF, CSV and JSON exports. Choose where to save or share the file through your device’s share sheet. Check the destination because these files can contain sensitive journal information. Journal Report lets Premium users choose a date range and PDF or CSV, for bowel records, bladder records or both. Notes are optional in these reports; JSON includes the full journal. Earlier builds keep their existing export access. Your clinician can tell you whether to print the report or attach it in their patient portal; sharing a file does not automatically sync entries into a hospital record.

Why hasn’t an entry appeared on my other device?

Sign in to the same Diaroo account on both devices and bring each app online and into the foreground. Offline edits and deletions synchronize when a connection is available. If a sync error remains, keep your local data and contact support with the app version and error message. Do not clear the app or reinstall as a first troubleshooting step.

How do I control location, ads, and diagnostics?

Location is optional under Settings → Location and your device permissions. Settings → Privacy → Usage Analytics controls both optional usage analytics and crash reporting; these are off by default. Ad privacy choices opens the available advertising consent controls. The free app requests non-personalized ads; Premium removes ads.

Can I delete my data?

Use Settings → Manage your data → Delete Account, or follow the public deletion-request instructions. Clear This Device synchronizes pending account changes before signing out and clearing local data; it keeps your cloud account and synced journal. Account deletion does not cancel a store subscription.

What platforms is Diaroo available on?

Diaroo is available for iPhone with iOS 15.1 or later. Download it on the App Store. The Android release is currently in Google Play review; its download link will appear on our download page when it becomes available.

What languages does Diaroo support?

The first release supports English and Simplified Chinese. You can switch languages in Settings.
