Wellness Disclaimer
Clinical diary details and the Premium bladder diary are tools for recording your own observations. Ask your clinician which fields and recording period they need. There is no single required checklist for every patient or condition, and Diaroo cannot guarantee clinical acceptance. Blank entries mean unknown; estimated amounts are not measured urine volumes. Do not use a partial diary to diagnose a condition or assume an accurate 24-hour output measurement.
A personal journal, not medical advice
Diaroo helps you record and review your bathroom routine. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, screening, or emergency monitoring. No clinician reviews your entries through the App, and using it does not create a healthcare relationship.
Entry types, Bristol Stool Scale references, stool colors, symptom tags, charts, badges, summaries, and exported reports are for personal recording and general information. They are not a clinical assessment or a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
What summaries can tell you
PDF reports and Premium 7-, 30-, and 90-day summaries describe the entries you recorded. They are calculated on your device; journal content is not sent to an AI or report-generation service to create them.
- Days without entries are unknown. They do not establish that no bowel movement occurred.
- More or fewer entries, a streak, a badge, or a particular rating does not indicate better or worse health.
- Symptom counts reflect the tags you entered. Missing tags do not mean you were symptom-free, and multiple tags can belong to one entry.
- Period comparisons can be affected by incomplete logging. The current period includes today so far.
The App does not account for your full medical history, medications, diet, or other factors a clinician would consider. It cannot determine the cause or significance of a symptom or establish a medical correlation.
Use the journal at your own pace
Timers, reminders, streaks, and achievements are optional journaling aids. Do not prolong a bathroom visit, strain, change your diet or medication, or create inaccurate entries to meet an app goal. Record what actually happened.
When you need care
Discuss medical questions, concerning symptoms, or changes in your routine with a qualified healthcare professional. Do not delay seeking care or disregard medical advice because of an entry, chart, message, or lack of an alert in Diaroo. For a possible medical emergency, contact local emergency services.
Records and exports
Diaroo does not replace a clinician’s medical records. It is not intended for clinical decision-making, and we do not claim regulatory approval or medical accuracy.
Export controls are under Settings → Manage your data. In Diaroo 1.4 for iPhone, PDF, CSV and JSON exports require Premium; earlier builds keep their existing export access. You may choose to share a copy with a healthcare professional. Check the content and destination first; exported files may contain sensitive information.
Keep your own copies of information you need. Device loss, unsynchronized changes, service interruptions, clearing data, or account deletion can affect access to records. Optional synchronization does not guarantee that every change has reached another device or that data can always be recovered.
Your rights and privacy
This disclaimer does not exclude responsibilities or consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law. Your journal may contain sensitive health information regardless of the App’s wellness purpose. See our Privacy Policy for how it is handled and our Terms of Service for service terms.
